So I completely changed my whole jacket design; turns out you can’t use buckles as closures for this particular project. It’s a bit disappointing but buttons will have to suffice for now. I just spent the whole evening drafting new pattern pieces; crossing my fingers that everything fits tomorrow when I sew the muslin pieces together otherwise I can just feel that I’ll suddenly fall sick and miss class on Thursday. May all the higher powers be with me.
